Tom was a very big boy with copious amounts of energy.  From the time he was born he was a huge puppy.  And he stayed that way.  Aside from being large, his body was solid muscle. Here he is at 4 years of age, noticing something interesting...

Tom was a funny dog.  He was very smart, like his father, and you could see it in his eyes.  He had a love affair with Inga.  She loved him and he loved her.  They pined away when they were separated even for a few minutes.  It was quite bizarre to witness but the only explanation for it is true love.  Tom was the only dog Inga would allow to eat and Inga constantly beat up on him, but would still occasionally leave him alone or let him lick her eyes and ears.

Tom isn't looking at the camera in this one, but I think it still shows his maturity, depth of chest, and bone.
