Mistress Julia of Massalane

Date of Birth:  July 28, 1977

Julie was the first female mastiff at the Old School.  Basically, we decided that we were going to be mastiff breeders and so we searched for a bitch that complimented Hannibal in pedigree and in structure.  That lead us to Massalane mastiffs. Julie is pictured here at 5 years of age.

Julie was shipped to us at 6 months of age and she was exactly what we asked for.  She had a lot of body and bone, and a super rear.  That body style and rear has tended to stay with our line, sometimes to a greater extent than others, but part of the reason is because of Julie, our foundation bitch.  The photo here was taken when Julie was 7 years of age.
